1. Head and Footboard Stress Test
This test ensures that the headboard and footboard maintain structural integrity during use, preventing accidents and meeting customer expectations for product quality.Test Method:
Manually apply a force of 450N for 30 seconds, then gradually release the pressure over another 30 seconds. Repeat this process 10 times. The product passes if there is no deformation or cracking at the joints.
2. Air Spring Test
This test evaluates the quality and functionality of air springs, ensuring their reliability and performance.3. 10° Incline Test
This test ensures the bed remains stable and safe for use, even on inclined surfaces, to guarantee an optimal user experience.Test Method:
Push a test bed weighing at least 1700N onto a 10° slope. Lock the brakes and rotate the casters to their most unfavorable position. Let it sit for 24 hours, then measure any caster displacement. Displacement of no more than 10mm is considered a pass.
4. Caster Durability Test
Testing the casters ensures they remain functional and intact under prolonged use.Test Method:
Apply 1.2 times the normal load capacity to the sampled product and simulate continuous walking for 4 hours, covering 120 kilometers. Check for cracks, detachment, or wear on the tires.
5. Threshold Test
This test evaluates the stability of the bed when moving over obstacles, ensuring its structural integrity and functionality.Test Method:
Move the bed at a speed of 0.4m/s to strike an obstacle threshold and repeat this process 10 times. Inspect the bed’s functionality, railing strength, and overall stability.
6. Salt Spray Test
The salt spray test ensures that metal components resist corrosion, maintaining durability and satisfying customer expectations for product quality.Test Method:
Place the product on a wooden board inside the salt spray testing machine and monitor for signs of surface corrosion or rust.
7. Vibration Test
This test simulates various vibration scenarios to evaluate whether the product can endure vibrations encountered during transport or use. It also confirms adherence to design and functional standards. Test Purpose is to identify and eliminate defective products before they leave the factory, conduct failure analyses, improve manufacturing processes, and enhance overall product quality.Test Method:
Use vibration platforms and horse-motion trajectory tests to assess the vertical packaging stability. Products pass the test if they meet ASTM D999-01 standards.
